It all started in 1987, in a suburb of Johannesburg called Rosettenville. A man named Fernando Duarte invited Robbie Brozin to a humble eatery to try some mouth-watering PERi-PERi chicken. The rest, as they say, is history. Five years later, Nando’s landed in the UK. When it did, we made a decision: to put as much passion into our people, as we do our chicken. That’s because, as extraordinary as it may sound, chicken alone doesn’t make us who we are. It’s the people that make the chicken.

Hurston Eliot is a bespoke search firm focused primarily on placing ex-blue chip professionals who are interested in working in alternative ways (either on an interim or permanent basis) - broadly across law, finance, marketing and strategy. Clients see the value of accessing a diverse and impressive pool of candidates, as well as the business efficiency of having someone exceptional and experienced working on less than a full-time basis. For candidates, it provides a sustainable way of continuing to pursue challenging work while still having time to focus on other interests they may have. Our clients range from family offices to SMEs to global multi-nationals, and across a range of industries. We've placed lawyers, COOs, commercial leads, finance directors and various other senior level roles for which excellent talent is needed, but not on a full-time basis.
The Managed By service from 2to3days ensures that clients who need their roles to remain confidential can still access all the great talent in the 2to3days hood.
