HL&W Limited are a fast growing, independent firm of accountants and business advisors focused on providing tax, accounting, and consultancy services by providing solutions to our clients’ needs.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and connected personal tax returns for clients
- Monitoring and updating status of jobs
- Reviewing and tracking statutory and client deadlines whilst updating AccountancyManager, our workflow management system and client database
- Ensuring that all final products and services delivered to clients meet the required standards
- Contributing ideas to improve processes, efficiency and services for the business and our clients
- Resolving client and management queries using initiative to take action before being prompted
- Managing your own workflow
To be successful in the role you MUST have:
- AAT qualifications
- Experience of financial reporting
- Practice experience in the preparation of statutory accounts, corporate tax returns, self assessment tax returns
- A-C GCSE grades in English and Maths
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivation and confidence in managing a busy workload
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Prior use of Xero and Sageone software
