Purpose:

To manage the development and implementation of the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital’s Alumni strategy. Key objectives will include building the alumni community strategy, growing the alumni community and fostering alumni relations in order to build and strengthen relationships between the Trust and its community of former employees, fellows or trainees.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement the alumni and communities engagement strategy ensuring that the overall approach meets the objectives of the Trust’s business strategy

  • Manage the Alumni Network across all its channels

  • Lead in the management of the Alumni Network social media channels

  • Act as a spokesperson in the Trust for the Alumni Network

  • Manage the production of our quarterly newsletters

  • To work alongside the marketing team to develop and deliver integrated alumni network marketing plans that tie-in with the ongoing series of NHS and Private Patient initiatives

  • Develop strategies and sponsor key initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of service excellence and employee engagement and drive a culture of health and appreciation across the business.

  • Oversee the production of internal communications to the private patients team

  • Hold surgeries across site to ensure staff have the opportunity and platform to raise any type of concerns that may impact their performance at work

  • Work with the PP management team and staff to improve processes and issues that are raised via staff engagement (listening) groups

  • Participate in other projects as required
