The University of West London (UWL) has climbed an impressive 23 places to become one of the top 40 universities in the UK according to the influential Guardian University Guide 2021.
UWL is now ranked 34th in the UK – our highest position of any league table ever! We were also the top university in England for teaching satisfaction and the ranking reaffirms our position as the top modern university in London.
In addition, UWL has been named University of the Year for Student Experience in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. The editor of the Guide has described UWL as “regularly among the top-performing universities’ and that we have ‘proved it is possible for a London-based institution to achieve outstanding levels of student satisfaction beyond other universities”.

The College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare delivers healthcare courses across Berkshire and London and has a wide ranging CPD provision. We have excellent partnerships with a large number of healthcare organisations both NHS and in the private, voluntary and independent sector. We are a supportive and collegiate team and strongly encourage individuals in their continuing professional development.
The Apprenticeship Support Link Tutor (ASLT) will support apprentices on the nursing associate and nurse apprenticeship degree course whilst they are in practice. This will include liaising with their practice assessor, practice supervisors and employers.
The Apprenticeship Support Link Co-ordinator (ASLC) will be key to ensuring compliance with both the apprenticeship and Nursing and Midwifery Council education and professional body regulations.
This is an exciting new opportunity for someone who is extremely well organised and who has excellent interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have sound experience of supporting and assessing students nurses/nursing associates in practice. This role does require travel and therefore you should have access to own transport.
