Assistant Financial Controller (Part Time)

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with an innovative business based in Bradford to recruit a Part Time Assistant Financial Controller into their finance team for an initial period of 6 months. This is a new role to support the financial controller with the delivery of a first class service to the wider business by providing timely, accurate information to various stakeholders. Initially a 6 month contract, this could become a long term role and the client is offering 30 hours per week and can be flexible whether these are worked across 5 short days or 4 full days dependent on the successful candidates preference. There will be a requirement to be in the Bradford office a couple of times a week, however this business have embraced flexible working and are able to offer the opportunity to work remotely approximately 50% of the time. Key deliverables will include but not limited to: * Year end preparation* Month end reporting* Be part of the Monthly and Annual forecasting process* Bank & Cash Flow management* Balance sheet responsibility* Liaise with internal and external stakeholdersKey Skills & Experience:* Must be a qualified accountant with a recognised accounting body, ideally ACA or ACCA* Have at least 2 years post qualification experience* Strong Excel skills * Ability to prepare information to a consistently high standard* Self starter, be able to prioritise tasks and work well both alone and as part of a team* Be engaged with the business and have commercial awareness and understandingThis is a fantastic part time opportunity to join a close-knit team lead by a great Financial Controller and supportive management team.
