We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper/accounts manager who can look after all the day to day financial transactions of a SME business, including payroll.
- Take the accounts up to Trial Balance
- Manage the sales and purchase ledger
- Calculate quarterly VAT returns
- Journal entries (prepayments and accruals etc)
- Make sure all payments/runs are up to date
- Raise sales invoices
- Run the payroll (Sage Payroll)
You will be working for a modern, friendly and well established, long standing company. This position is offered in a full time or part time capacity, the minimum hours required are circa 30.
They offer some remote working and therefore this role can be split between working from the office and home.
5+ years experience working in a similar accountancy role
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong client facing skills
Knowledge of Sage accounting software would be a distinct advantage
