Bookkeeper - Full or Part-Time

Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced double-entry Bookkeeper. You will work as part of a team in a Firm of Accountants and undertake a variety of bookkeeping work for a mixed portfolio of clients. The work will typically include sales and purchase ledger work, invoices, journals and so on, as well as bank reconciliations, preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients and other ad hoc bookkeeping duties.

You will use a mixture of software, including Quick books, Sage and Xero.

The role can be offered on either a full or a part-time basis to suit, and our client can accommodate school hours.

If you have had any previous experience of working in a Firm of Accountants, that will give you an advantage, but the Firm is equally happy to consider good strong double-entry Bookkeepers from general commercial backgrounds.
