Up to £25,000 (DOE)

Are you a bookkeeper, with experience working in a practice, looking for a supportive and nurturing environment? We may have just the opportunity for you.

The role would see you processing bookkeeping for a wide range of clients and will include:

Bookkeeping

  • Process transactions for bookkeeping clients
  • Control account postings management
  • Review for management accounting adjustments
  • Prepare and review VAT reports
  • Complete all checklists and working papers as applicable to support and evidence processing
  • Use of a variety of computerised accounting software, to cover, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, AutoEntry and general production and administration software to cover, Excel, Word, WorkFlow Max, Practice Engine and Virtual Cabinet.

Client Relationships

  • Maintain a client service focus at all times
  • Communications with clients

Controls

  • Take account of utilization of own time
  • Report upwards on any substantial difficulties at the earliest opportunity
  • Ensure that all laid down systems, processes and procedures are complied with

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices gained in a professional bookkeeping environment
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Working knowledge of relevant software applications as required
  • Bookkeeping certification (AAT or comparable)
