Bookkeeper - Full or Part-Time

\nOur client is an expanding Firm of Accountants and they are seeking to appoint an additional member of staff. The role will entail undertaking a variety of bookkeeping duties for a mixed client base, comprising of self-employed people and small to medium-sized limited companies. You may typically be asked to undertake ledger work for clients, bank reconciliations, prepare and submit timely VAT returns for clients and undertake some month end reconciliation work for them. You will often review clients' records and upload their bookkeeping figures onto Xero software, and undertake general data processing for these clients.\n\nWhilst previous experience of undertaking bookkeeping in a Firm of Accountants or a Bookkeeping Bureau will be an advantage, we would also encourage applications from bookkeepers who have worked in other environments. Xero experience again would be useful, but it is not essential.\n\nThe company can consider offering the role on a full or a part-time basis, with minimum hours being around 20 per week.\n
