An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bookkeeper within the online gift industry based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

This is an exciting opportunity and ideal for an experienced Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will help create better systems and procedures to streamline the department.

Duties of the role include:

  • Processing information onto Xero and producing reports
  • This consists of all aspects of accounts payable and receivable
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing VAT returns & Payroll
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Liaise with accountant and management proactively

Experience and Skills required:

  • IT skills and proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of accounting principles are vital
  • Proven practice experience in a bookkeeping role is essential
  • ACCA/AAT Qualified or qualified by experience
  • Working knowledge of Xero and reporting
  • Problem-solving abilities and willingness to use your initiative to drive improvements in processes
  • The ability to work unsupervised to meet regular and required deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task


  • £26,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
  • Full or Part Time employment contract
