Bookkeeper - Part time

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Marketing agency as a part time bookkeeper. The role reports directly to the to the CEO.

Skills Required:

Computer literate and be experienced in having a wide range of bookkeeping / finance responsibilities and in dealing with sensitive personal and corporate information. Accounting experience is essential and QuickBooks experience valuable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily bank & records up dating
  • Receiving and making company payments
  • Weekly collections actions
  • Invoice generation and send weekly/monthly
  • Validating & recording bills
  • Handling monthly payroll submission
  • Preparing payroll calculations & BACS payments
  • Making NI and other tax payments
  • Petty Cash control
  • Reconcile petty cash account
  • Handling and paying expenses claims
  • Maintain credit card expenses spreadsheet
  • Notify team of upcoming renewals
  • Invoice 3rd party spends to clients
  • Keep bank statements and key company documents
  • Reconciling all bank, card & cash accounts
  • Prepare Management accounts review
  • Monthly and quarterly review of VAT, submitting to HMRC and arranging payments
