Our client has recently relocated to newly refurbished offices situated within easy reach of J23a M1, and is actively looking for a personable bookkeeper/accountant to join their friendly motivated team. This is an autonomous role with the successful applicant responsible for all the accounting operations and reporting direct to the owner. This includes sales, purchases, and payroll processes; VAT and PAYE returns and payments; assisting with budget preparation, producing analysis and ad hoc financial reports; responsibility for banking, journals and internal controls. Experience in XERO (preferably XERO certified) is preferred.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated and able to work easily with others.
The role is likely to be in the region of 25 hours a week with some flexibility in the specific arrangement.
