Smart Soho is a boutique sized all services creative agency providing great design and advertising services to all sectors. We have a large number of clients in the property sector but do not specialise. We keep all services provided in house ranging from a film or website to a branding exercise or brochure.

There are only currently 4 full time staff with 2 regular freelancers and a few more individuals we call upon when required for bigger projects. We are seeking to employ 2 permanent members of staff immediately. One account handler and one book keeper (this role) in order to balance up the office better. We are currently ALL creative with a distinct lack of admin and account support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position who enjoys a varied role, being able to take ownership and working within a supportive team environment. We are looking for someone who is;

Responsibilities include:

• Bookkeeping
• Maintaining all bookkeeping entries to Xero
• Creating and processing purchase and sales invoices
• Process supplier payment runs
• Provide monthly balance sheets
• Forecasting
• Reconciling supplier statements and bank statements
• Credit control / debt chasing including cash postings
• Email Statements to clients
• Credit control/debt chasing
• Data entry for accountant to run VAT Returns
• Make online bank payments to suppliers and HMRC
• Administration
• Using a range of software including email, spreadsheets and databases to ensure the efficient running of the office.
• Organise and send quotes to customers based on information from directors
