Wheelfreedom supply mobility equipment including high-end bespoke wheelchairs to disabled people. While we have been established for over 11 years, the company remains a young, growing one with significant plans for expansion in the near future, and this role will help us on that journey. Our service makes a real difference to our customers lives, which is reflected in the feedback we receive.
While our finances are in good order, credit control needs improvement and will be a key initial aspect of the job. You will take day to day control of the company’s finances, and put in place processes to facilitate efficient credit control on an ongoing basis.
Experience in an accountancy role is required, and a professional qualification such as AAT level 2 is desirable. The company operates a cloud based accounting system, including payroll and it is possible that the role may include assistance with migrating to another system in the near future.
The role is a permanent one, initially for 10 – 15 hours per week by negotiation, but more hours will be required initially whilst our credit control processes are improved. We can be flexible on times, and ideally these hours would be spread over 3 – 5 days.
We are based in Southfields, in South West London. Due to the number of hours worked each day, remote working is expected, although we would prefer for you to be local so that you can come into the office, if required. However, we will consider full remote working for the right candidate.
