With over 85,000 members from 20+ countries and used by 700+ companies, we have made millions of matches and introduced tens of thousands of candidates to prospective employers. We are a fast growing company and have become the number 1 job hunting platform for recent graduates, cutting out the pain and hassle of recruitment and job searching. We now have a team of 20 across 2 offices. Given our continuing strong growth and ongoing ambitions we are now looking for up to two enthusiastic and dedicated sales professionals to join our motivated team. The role will allow for a lot of flexibility, beginning at approx. 15 hours per week (to be mutually agreed) and the work will be conducted from home, although we will expect to see you in the office ideally once a month and once a quarter at least. The hours will be workable at times that suit you and you will be joining our (all-mothers) remote client relationships / sales team, so working alongside others ‘in the same boat’.


For this position, you will need initiative and be a self-starter. Naturally we will support and guide and you will be working alongside others who have experience in the role. And we don’t do things like monitor time spent on the phone or emails sent; we work largely on the basis of trust. But we expect you to drive things forward yourself; identify opportunities and pursue them.



  • Engaging existing and prospective clients to inform them of the services we offer and persuade them to try TalentPool

  • Selling individual ‘campaigns’ to clients

  • Building deep and long-lasting relationships with our existing clients principally via phone calls and email correspondence

  • Arranging and taking phone calls to current clients to discuss their needs and how TalentPool functions and can help

  • Informing clients of updates and new initiatives within the company, such as subscription services

  • Up-selling new services and packages to existing clients

  • Working directly with TalentPool's commercial and campaign management teams to meet client needs

  • Smooth handover of new opportunities identified to operational team

  • Though this is not a ‘hard sales’ role, it is nonetheless a sales role; so you much be confident and persuasive over the phone and prepared to deal with tricky periods as you are to celebrate successes.



  • Has sales experience working with clients, selling products and/or services and managing client relationships

  • Able to operate 'on a level' with senior clients (our point of contact will range from junior team lead to CEO)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Confident and personable, particularly over the phone

  • Can multi-task and manage their time effectively

  • Credible experience in any sector

  • Note: you do not need a degree or specific sector experience; if you feel you can do this and you think what you have done will be relevant, you are probably right.
