Business Manager - Telecomms

Our client, G.Network is changing connectivity in London.  As a 100% full fibre network, they are digging streets and deploying fibre to the premises (FTTP) across central London, offering world class products supported by industry leading service.

Private Equity backed and founder led, G.Network has ambitious expansion plans and as a consequence is looking for Business Managers to help us realise them.

The Role:

You will be the face of the company in your nominated territory, you will be responsible for building relationships with businesses and winning new customers. This is a target carrying acquisition role where high levels of activity and providing an outstanding customer experience are essential for success. 

This is a permanent role with flexibility on the number of days required.

The Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new business

  • Create new prospects by canvassing, referrals, and meeting businesses

  • Assist clients and prospects in understanding their connectivity requirements

  • Be aware of and react to the competitor landscape

  • Deliver best in class relationship management

You Offer:

You are a high performing sales individual from the telecoms or related industry, with a demonstrable track record of over-performance.  You are passionate about what you do, driven and tenacious.  You are a prolific networker, enjoy presenting, and are self-confident and self-motivated.

You Have:

  • Experience in business sales

  • Superior negotiation skills, comfortable with selling on service and not price

  • Good communication skills

  • Initiative to and gravitas to ‘own’ your territory

  • Experience of the UK telecoms (or related industry) environment
