The role:

Southfields Veterinary Specialists is currently recruiting for a Client Finance Manager to work directly with the Client Care Manager to ensure a professional and supportive service for our clients. 

You will lead a team who is integral to financial delivery of the referral centre. This is a new role, so responsibilities will initially vary but will include; Insurance claims, debt assessment, coordinating and communicating claims between clients and clinical teams, communicating with the referring vet and insurance companies. The role will require you to support with the Client Care Manager, ensuring an excellent service level at all times.

The role will have responsibility for the insurance and finance teams.

This role will work collaboratively with the Client Care manager and report to the Operations Manager.

This is a rewarding a challenging role that will require team work and dedication to our clients.

You need to be a highly motivated self-starter with the:

  • Experience of leading a team

  • Experience of claims handling

  • Experience dealing with debts and finances

  • Desire to provide the best clinical service to all our patients

  • Ability to help develop and shape a growing service

  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually

  • Good at building relationships with clients

  • Adaptable to different situations

Specific experience/qualification/status/citizenship requirements

You must fulfil the following requirements:

  • Insurance claims experience is preferred

  • Referral/veterinary experience is not essential, but preferred

  • Have an excellent command of written and spoken English

  • Strong communications skills and professional approach

  • Provide evidence of your Right to Work in the UK
