Commissioning Quality Monitoring Officer

The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic and innovative Children and Young People’s Commissioning Team. We are looking for someone who is organised and enthusiastic to undertake this crucial role.

The work of the team is varied, with an emphasis on achieving positive outcomes through effectively sourcing services for children and young people. The successful applicant will be able to implement the monitoring, review and reporting of children’s social care provider’s quality by:

  • Liaising with customers, operational colleagues and providers to ensure the quality of services commissioned

  • Reviewing and updating quality protocols, policies and procedures

  • Visiting settings and undertaking quality visits

  • Embedding and capture the voice of the child within commissioned Children in Care provision

  • Providing timely reports as required on service quality

You must have:

  • Experience in and good knowledge of undertaking quality monitoring activity

  • Qualification at A Level or equivalent

  • Knowledge and understanding of priorities, statutory guidance, legislation and policies relating to vulnerable groups and housing

  • Enthusiasm with a 'can do' focused and proactive attitude.
