This part time permanent community development officer post will be based within the Stronger, Safer & Healthier Communities business unit of Barnsley Council and based in the Dearne This is an exciting opportunity; you will lead a programme of social action and engagement linked to the delivery of locally agreed Ward Alliance and area priorities and reflecting the corporate priority of building stronger and resilient communities. You will work directly with elected members, volunteer groups and people who live and work in the area and have the ability to inspire, mobilise and empower people to play an active role in their community through a variety of mechanisms.
Salary: £28,672 - £31,346 Pro Rata. Plus laptop & phone
