Company Accountant - Full time and Part Time

SF Recruitment are currently working with a service business in Birmingham in the recruitment of a temporary to permanent Company Accountant. My client is seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) to lead a small finance team including an Accounts Assistant and a Payroll clerk. Full time and Part time candidates will both be considered. The role will report into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, quarterly VAT, managing cash including forecasting, maintaining the fixed assets register and adhoc cover for other team members during their annual leave. Ideally, applicants will come from an SME background and have the ability to complete all accounting duties. You must also possess strong Excel skills including vlook ups and pivot tables. The company uses Pegasus Opera, so experience of working with this software is desired but not essential. My client is looking for an immediate start but will wait up to 2 weeks for the right person
