Credit Analyst (Part time - 20 hours)

My client are a global automotive organisation looking for a part time Credit Analyst/ Cash Applications Clerk to join their busy team. Currently the role is for a 12 month FTC, however with the role being a part of a new area of the business (E-Commerce) this will be assessed at the end. This role will be remote, 20 hours per week (2.5 days but can flexible on days/hours) however the successful applicant will need to live within commutable distance to the Oxford office for collaboration/training and 1-2-1’s. This would be an excellent role for somebody who may be returning to the field after a career break, or perhaps a student with previous experience looking to learn within a global brand as they further their studies. The role: Support the Credit and Finance operations with a focus on timely posting and allocation of customer cash, periodic reporting Maintaining an environment of professional credit ethics whilst servicing the customer portfolio in line with corporate policy. Support and control the credit risks through the timely processing and reconciliation of e-com customer and/or dealer payments and the escalation of any rejected payments at the point of receipt. This role requires close working relations with internal and external stakeholders working to pre-defined policies and procedures. Identifying problems, solving issues and making recommendations, where appropriate.  Key Tasks & Responsibilities Cash Processing Reporting Value and Volume of transactions processed Failed automatic postings System Maintenance Job Specifications The role dictates that the candidate must be fluent in English Excellent IT skills and experienced in using Microsoft Office Applications with particular focus on advanced Excel skills.    Any additional languages would be an advantage. Previous experience within a cash processing role for a minimum of 1 year. The candidate must have strong communication skills to interact with all levels of company leadership and staff.
