We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, who are a European Time-Critical Logistics company and are looking to expand their team by employing an experienced Part-Time 3 days a week Credit Controller - Accounts Assistant to support their existing team in Solihull (Birmingham), UK.

Our Logistics client provides time-critical cargo solutions throughout Europe and worldwide.

Credit Controller - Accounts Assistant - Part Time

Days and Hours - Wednesday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm

Salary : £12,000 for part-time which is the equivalent of £20,000 p/a

Purpose of the role :
- to provide support to the accounts team in keeping the accounts, collect and reconcile credit notes and invoices owed to the company.
- to work in line with the company finance strategy.

Key job responsibilities :

Accounts Receivable
· Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
· Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit rankings
· Ensuring timely payment of debts
· Following up payments as needed
· Responding to relevant client queries
· Prepare weekly debtors reports with commentary
· Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
· Send statement to customers
· Raised invoices and credits notes

General
· Ensure all records are accurately filed both manually and electronically.
· Keep up to date with activities of other Accounts Assistants using the appropriate network of communication.
· To work in correlation with Accounts Team
· Be aware and comply with company policy
