Credit Controller (Part Time)

Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic & experienced Credit Controller to join a key client based in the Worksop area on a permanent part time basis, 20-25 hours per week. This is a fantastic role in a fast paced environment where you can really get stuck into the duties and have full autonomy of your role! There are plenty of opportunities for progression and development within this team and you will be given all the support and tools you need to be successful in your career.Duties & Responsibilities Include: ▪ Chasing customer payments in line with company payment terms to minimise bad debt▪ Handling of tier 2 interactions received into Credit Control ensuring all requests are completed and successfully resolved within the agreed service level▪ Look for process improvement opportunity for service delivery▪ Work to weekly outbound phone targets set by team leader▪ To assist in working with the team to minimise Overdue Debt and maximise cash collections▪ Work proactively to identify customer disputes at an early stage in the collection cycle to assist with minimising outstanding debt. Including relevant escalations to the appropriate Business owners▪ Creating and categorising outbound service requests using an internal ticketing systemKey Skills & Experience: ▪ Formal Education - GCSE English & Maths Grade C (equivalent) or above▪ Experienced in using MS Excel & MS Word ▪ Experience of using SAP would be desirable▪ Experience of working in a busy Customer service/Finance environment ▪ Experience of managing multiple customer accounts to effectively minimise outstanding debt ▪ Excellent verbal communication - must be able to effectively communicate company policy when dealing with the recovery of outstanding debt▪ Team Player must be willing to help and support colleagues▪ Target driven and self-motivated to achieve collection targets▪ Ability to keep calm under pressure▪ Must be adaptable and not averse to changeElevation Accountancy Support is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group focusing on Administration positions in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
