About the role

PwC is seeking an experienced data architect with substantive experience in dimensional modelling to join their global data architecture & modeling team to help deliver on the PwC Common Data Model which will support a number of Reporting and Analytics use cases across PwC.

Who we are

PwC has been investing in its global data governance and management capabilities to support its objectives to become the leading technology enabled professional services provider and a data driven enterprise. To support these objectives it has recently formed a Global Chief Data Office which includes a Data Architecture and Modelling team. This role is within that team.

Key responsibilities

Deliver dimensional models to support PwC’s emerging global reporting and analytics capabilities.

Preferred knowledge and skills

  • Experience with dimensional data modelling.
  • Experience developing bus matrices.
  • Experience with conceptual, logical and physical modelling.
  • Experience developing and using UML data models.
  • Experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Experience working in a Data Architecture team.
  • Experience of working with SMEs, other EAs as well as business and data analysts to understand modelling requirements.
  • Experience developing dimensional and other data models as part of an agile methodology.
