Role Purpose

A fantastic part time flexible opportunity has arisen to join our Data Protection Team, based in Crossflatts or can be remote. This is an ideal opening for an experienced candidate to progress their career in a varied and interesting role in assisting the business to deliver its data protection obligations to regulators and supervisory authorities as well as to clients.

You will be working as part of a global team maintaining Data Protection standards, supporting business and client change, and analysing and investigating potential data protection breaches. You will also provide guidance and support on Data Protection matters to the business and have an opportunity to work with the wider global privacy team.

Main Accountabilities

  • Triage of reported data protection breaches to draft breach reports for clients;
  • Supporting business stakeholders in the completion and maintenance of Privacy Impact Assessments;
  • Supporting process owners in the maintenance of the register of personal data processing;
  • Assistance with privacy reporting to stakeholders and businesses across the region; and
  • Working with the wider data protection team to assist with the development or application of elements of the privacy framework across the region.
  • Skills/Experience & Competencies

    As an experienced candidate you will hold a good knowledge of the compliance and audit, and ideally have knowledge of Data Protection obligations and controls.

    Strong literacy and numerical skills will allow you to successfully communicate across all levels of the business, both written and verbal, and enable you to work through problems of both a technical and non-technical nature.

    Highly competent in demonstrating organisational skills, including the ability to forward plan, balance priorities and co-ordinate multiple tasks, with meticulous attention to detail.

    You will be practised in working as part of a team, aligned with being self-motivated, enjoy using your own initiative, and you will work with consistency, integrity, accountability, and professionalism at all times.
