Prince’s Trust International believes every young person should have the chance to succeed.
We work in partnership with organisations around the world to support young people to access the tools they need to thrive.
Our goal is to help young people into education, training and work, whilst building their confidence and skills. Digital products and tools are a key priority for us as we respond to the global COVID-19 crisis and ensure we can continue to reach as many young people as possible
To support our digital growth ambitions, we are looking to hire a Digital Delivery Manager on a permanent contract, supporting the Digital and Design team for 3 days per week.
Many of our digital innovation projects are currently in prototype stages – as we gather feedback from targeted audiences in our pilot countries before moving to scale. We work in sprints with cross-functional project teams collaborating on this work. The Digital Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and optimisation of these digital projects. Working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that all digital projects are delivered with technical rigor, to carefully mapped out timelines and within agreed budgets.
It is critical that the person taking on this role has a hands-on IT/digital project delivery background, but is comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders – ensuring that product needs are efficiently analysed, documented and translated into technical requirements, producing artefacts such as digital roadmaps, product backlogs, wireframes and user-journey blueprints.
This role would have an exciting and dynamic portfolio of products to work across, including a chatbot-style service built on the WhatsApp for business platform, a digital learning experience built using the Microsoft Teams portal, and a data visualisation tool built using the tableau system. Further projects are currently being scoped, and the successful applicant will be actively involved in working with Prince’s Trust International stakeholders to define our digital delivery roadmap, and the lower-level product delivery roadmaps for specific digital projects/pilots.
You must be an excellent collaborator, highly organised and skilled at clear and effective communication. You will bring your technical expertise and rigor to the digital projects that you manage and align the cross-functional teams against a shared digital roadmap.
Ideally you will be passionate about developing digital tools for young people, with a strong interest in Prince’s Trust International’s target audience.
Although experience working internationally is highly desirable, it is not required. Candidates who can demonstrate a significant amount of experience working with relevant digital products are encouraged to apply where they believe they have transferable skills.
Prince’s Trust International is committed to safeguarding, protecting and promoting the welfare of the children and young people we work with. Successful applicants to roles at Prince’s Trust International will be subject to criminal vetting checks.
The Prince's Trust International is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Having a criminal record will not automatically exclude applicants.
We are committed to equality and believe in building a diverse organisation that is representative of and responsive to the needs of our young people and stakeholders.
