Strategic team leader with senior management experience in telecoms and/or tech required for 15-20 hours a week, for an initial 12 month contract.

Challenging senior management roles with flexibility don't come up every day. This is a great chance to join a small, yet dynamic consultancy on a part-time basis; to develop a strategy for the consultancy division, to lead and grow the already excellent team, to enhance efficiency and productivity and to put in place new processes and systems.

The Director of Consulting role is expected to take approximately 15-20 hours a week, from the office and home, and will attract a monthly fee of circa £6k. The role chiefly focuses on the management of a team of about 20 (once fully staffed) senior consultants and analysts who provide network and telecoms consultancy services to some of the UK's leading organisations. Many team members work from home, so experience of managing a decentralised team would be an advantage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a contractor to upscale and transform the delivery team. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the 20-strong consultancy function
  • Managing suppliers
  • Providing pre-sales and marketing support
  • Developing the team's approach to providing market data expertise
  • Contributing to the management of company

If you have senior management or consulting experience, preferably in telecoms or tech, and you're not afraid of a challenge but wish to have the flexibility of a part-time role, then this could be the role you've been looking for.
