We are seeking a part time Education Policy Assistant (fixed term 3 years, 0.4 FTE) who will provide secretariat and administrative support for meetings of the five organisations including: organisation of management and thematic meetings, away days, dinners, and occasionally events such as the annual Talking Science debate.

The role focuses on policy areas covering primary and secondary education in the sciences across the UK, and would suit candidates from a variety of backgrounds for example an entry level candidate interested in policy; a primary or secondary teacher looking to transition from classroom teaching; or a candidate with experience in science education looking to return to work after a career break.

This role is a fixed term, part-time position, which may be arranged across the working week, based at the Royal Society of Biology's new London office at 1 Naoroji Street, WC1X 0GB. Occasional travel or out of hours working may be required.
