Working in the Corporate Controllers division, the Finance Advisor/Finance Controller team provides technical advice and revision of both quarterly and annual reporting, as well as day to day support for accounting queries and implications.
This opportunity has arisen due to a pending maternity leave, and it is anticipated that the contract will be for approximately 10 months, commencing with a 3-4 week handover with the current incumbent.
The role requires you to have:
- ACA qualifications
- proven experience working Audit or a similar Head Office/Central corporate function supporting business units on technical issues.
- Strong revision and experience with quarterly results and annual statutory accounts gained within, or working on, large PLC businesses
- IFRS knowledge that can be brought up to date if needs be.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders

Work Pattern - the client is open to those wanting to work 3, 4, or 5 days. However for each quarter end they would need the 2 weeks of full-time. That would her October, January, April and July - 2 weeks full time at the start of those months. The rest is negotiable for the right candidate.
