Anderson Quigley began trading in March 2017 and is one of the country's fastest growing executive recruitment firms. We are looking to appoint a new permanent, part time Director of Finance to help manage the growth of our ambitious business.

As we close in on our third birthday, our annual turnover will pass £5m and we will realise a seven-figure profit in 2019. Having recently appointed a Finance Assistant much of the day to day is taken care of, therefore the role is increasingly focussed on strategic elements but maintains a good mix of corporate and management accounts, cash flow, returns and forecasting. However, we are a business firmly focussed on growth and we need our Director of Finance to provide strategic advice, guidance and safeguards to the Board.

We are particularly keen to hire someone who wants to be part of and shape an exciting journey, whether that's in the short or longer term. We will grow quickly yet sustainably; cash flow management is of course critical but financially positioning us for continued growth and development is paramount.

Our contemporary offices are on the Thames in Vauxhall. Importantly, the office is there to facilitate business (client and candidate) operations and not be a location where the team feel they have to present daily.  We envisage the role being circa one/two days a week but are open to a conversation around whether this could be more.

For more information on us please visit For a conversation about the role and our wonderful firm please call Elliott Rae on 07584 078 534.

We would be keen to hear from candidates who have held a relevant and senior financial management role in, ideally, the professional services industry (recruitment in particularly) and start up experience would be desirable.

Candidates should bring specific experience and abilities in:

1. Statutory and monthly accounts, working capital, and cash flow reporting;

2. Deep experience in presenting financial data to aid and support operational and strategic decision making; and

3. Strong financial systems skills.

4. ACA/ACCA /CIMA (PQE - statutory accounts & UK tax experience essential )

Anderson Quigley's senior team are ambitious and conviction driven. Success in the role will a need confident communicator with personal attributes such as a positive can do attitude and a self-starter, someone who is able to problem solve and find solutions without relying on the resource of a large corporate. But let's be clear, when we say confident communicator, we don't mean a loudmouth corporate type. You’re the finance grown up, the power in your message has to be the content not the style of delivery.

We are all working hard at our new business and while flexible working is critical and genuine, it will be important that you can work under pressure to tight deadlines while maintaining quality of output.
