Spring Law is a law firm specialising in complex disputes for individuals and companies. The overall firm size is 6 employees in London and 5 consultants. In Chichester we are one person office (the CEO). Our objective is to centralise all finance and office management from the Chichester office. In time it may also take on its own local lawyers. This is an exciting moment of change for the business which has been significantly London based since 2002.
We are looking for a bright and energised person with a strong background in finance and office management to work closely with the company's CEO, Tim Perry. The finance function will involve: keeping the company accounts package up to date, setting up payments, managing debtors and creditors, doing bank reconciliations, and all other related financial management including working with the company accountants. The office management will be concerned with the creation and implementation of processes aimed at stream lining operational efficiency and ensuring the smooth running of the business. A junior office assistant will be employed in London and will, to the extent required, report into the candidate.
The role will suit a person who is confident and independent and will enjoy the challenge of running a small business. We anticipate the role being 4 - 6 hrs per day 5 days per week but we are flexible as to the evolution of the role. Equally we are prepared to consider how best to accommodate reasonable needs in school holidays. Our main concern is quality of output and dedication to the task rather than an obsession as to where and how the work is actually done.
Tim Perry [email@example.com] will meet all interested candidates locally in Chichester.
