Finance Manager

We have registered a unique opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join a communication consultancy, located near central Oxford. Reporting to the company’s directors you will manage the day to day finances of the business and liaise with the external accountants.

This role could be full-time OR be reduced to 3 days a week – flexible around hours OR 5 mornings a week if activities can be streamlined and sufficiently delegated.

The standard hours are 9:00am - 5.30pm with some flexibility around this.

Finance Manager Responsibilities 

As the Finance Manager some of your duties will include:

  • Managing invoicing
  • Leading on credit control – chasing outstanding invoices
  • Making and managing payments
  • Monitoring the company credit cards and day to day banking
  • Producing monthly finance reports
  • Liaising with external accountants

Finance Manager Experience

The Finance Manager will have previous experience working in a Finance environment at a senior level, running the day to day finances of a business, ideally within a standalone role or leading a small team. Applicants with experience in a consultancy position would be preferred. It is essential that you have excellent attention to detail and that you can communicate to a variety of different stakeholders. As the Finance Manager you will either hold a finance qualification or be qualified by experience.

Location

The offices are located in OX2 with onsite parking and good transport links. They have recently had an office renovation and offer bright and airy offices.

This is an Oxford based role with some remote working once the successful candidate is embedded into the company and the role.

Travel to London will be required occasionally to the London Hub and there is a possibility to work in High Wycombe at the external accountancy firm’s offices.
