As a result of this they are keen to strengthen the accounts department by appointing a Finance Manager to oversee the day to day management of the finance function.
There is an experienced team already in place so therefore this role comes with the flexibility to work on a part-time basis and would be great for someone experienced who is looking to enjoy a better work/life balance.
This is a new role will have the following responsibilities: Producing the monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary Supporting the preparation of company budgets Reporting and management of cashflow, including detailed forecasting Analysis and reporting on performance Preparation of annual stat accounts and audit liaison Assisting with system implementations and project work Developing controls and improved processes The ideal candidate for this role would be able to commit to circa 25 hours a week and still have the passion and drive to be part of a high quality finance function.
The position will require the ability to manipulate and analyse large amounts of data so good Excel skills will be useful alongside the ability to use different software packages.
You will receive plenty of support from an experienced FD but previous experience of managing a small finance team would be very useful.
