Finance Manager (Part Time, 2/3 days)

My client is a small but ambitious organisation that is currently looking for some additional support for its finance function whilst recruiting on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Finance Director, key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake the day to day running of the finance function of the Charity.
  • Maintenance of comprehensive month and year end routines and responsible for ensuring all relevant reconciliations are undertaken, including credit control, bank reconciliations and staff credit cards.
  • Working to continuously improve the internal processes and procedures, and maintain a robust control environment.
  • Overseeing and supporting the work of a team of 4.
  • The successful candidate will be a qualified (or qualified by experience) Accountant with a proven track record of working at this level. The ability to be hands on as well as a strong manager will also be key.
