Our client, a highly regarded innovator in its specialist field, is looking to source a talented and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join on a part-time basis on an initial temporary contract. They would hope to convert to permanent, should you be a good fit for the business. Candidates must be available immediately. You will be the main finance contact in the office, taking responsibility for the day to day finance operations and reporting the Group where necessary.

This is a fun and flexible business, happy to fit the hours (3 - 4 days equivalent) around the successful candidate's lifestyle, whether that's a few full days per week or more days at reduced hours to fit around family life or another work commitment.

Main duties include:
* Purchase and sales ledger entry
* Bank entries and reconciliations
* Making bank payments
* Stock control
* Job costing
* VAT returns
* Petty cash reconciliations
* Accounting up to trial balance

Key skills and experience required:
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* AAT studies would be advantageous
* Confident working on own initiative
* Great communication across all levels
* A positive and proactive approach
* Proven track record in a similar finance manager/bookkeeping role
