The part-time Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the Finance function. Reporting into the MD, you will oversee the monthly reporting, annual reporting as well as looking after the cash flow and helping make key business decisions.
My client are a £20 million turnover, growing E-Commerce Retail business. The online side of the business has grown significantly over the past year and they have recently received some investment to support with continued growth.
The are looking for a Finance Manager due to a maternity leave and are keen to get someone who can start in the next few weeks.
Responsibilities Update weekly cash flow and manage long term peaks and lows. Review monthly payroll prepared by finance team. Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis on all areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet. Challenge and seek opportunities for cost savings. Produce rolling forecasts to keep management up to date on latest view on full year outturn. Complete monthly information pack for shareholder reporting. Review UK and international VAT returns and ensure processes are robust and kept up to date with latest rules Work with the commercial team to financially appraise proposed new projects and investments. Be the main point of contact and manage the year-end financial audit. Managing the finance team to ensure all deliverables are met Assisting various departments with budget control
Profile Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA Strong Excel skills Experience of working in growing SMEs Available 3 days a week for this role
