Finance Manager - 3 or 4 days a week - Waltons Clark Whitehill - Hartlepool Marina

Established in 1885, they are now one of the major firms of auditors, accountants, tax advisers, grants and funding and cloud accounting advisers in Teesside, the Tees Valley and the North East.
They work with clients from private individuals requiring assistance with a simple tax return, to large company audits and a full range of industries that you would expect of a firm this size including the construction, health, hospitality, farming, professional partnerships (specialising in solicitors) etc, to social enterprise sectors including schools, academies, charities, and pension schemes.

In the new role of Finance Manager role, you will work closely with the Directors, manage the internal finance function, and support their continual improvement strategy.
Reporting to the Operations Director you will have responsibility for the Firms accounts, from daily cash flow through to the production on monthly management accounts and annual returns. Your role will also include control of petty cash, credit control, company payroll and PAYE and VAT returns. You will have the opportunity to assist the Operations Director with budgets and ad hoc projects and the preparation of management information.
