This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to take full ownership of the finance function in a hands-on, managerial role. You will be overseeing the day-to-day operations and working closely with the senior stakeholders to provide commercial and strategic support with decision-making.

Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Running and overseeing the day-to-day financial operations
  • Managing invoice and interest payments across the various companies
  • Overseeing the monthly management accounts
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Managing cash flow forecasts and balance sheet reporting
  • Identifying cost reduction opportunities
  • Managing the Group's payroll, HMRC tax, statutory, corporation tax and quarterly VAT returns
  • Produce annual KPI packs and review with the MD
  • Support the Managing Director with due diligence and budget forecasting of potential acquisitions

Profile

You will have:

  • Accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Experience of working in an SME environment
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Great attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to work to deadlines, be reactive, and meet demands
