My client are looking for an experienced Finance Manager, this role will be part time and a temporary position.You will be an experienced Finance Manager with the necessary qualifications (minimum AAT Level 2/ CCAB part-qualified) with a minimum of 3 years book-keeping and professional expertise in all areas related to company finance and accounting, including treasury, dealing with contracts for utilities etc and accounting for the company and payroll.Main duties will include: * Transactional processing including AP, AR, bank transactions * Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on regular basis * Weekly payment runs including age grant payments and salary payments * Monthly profit & loss report preparation and variance analysis with commentary * Credit chase and debtors management * Staff expenses processing and payments * Calculation of negotiated prices for the programmes according to ESFA guidelines and updating them as and when required in line with the ESFA funding rules * Update employer co-investment payments received for learners * Posting accruals, prepayments and salary journals on monthly basis and related reconciliation. * NEST pension contribution schedule and payment * Liaising with the external accountants for preparation of year end accounts and statutory filing * Quarterly VAT returns filing according to MTD requirements of HMRC * Financial administration and record keeping according to the requirements of HMRC and ESFA * Cash flow preparation for external stakeholders when required * Reconciliation of funds received from ESFA each month and variance reporting * Report directly to MD and liaise closely with FCD and Regional Managers * Part of the management team * Any ad hoc reports or duties as required
