We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to ensure the effective and efficient collation, management and analysis of financial data within the Finance Team.
What will you be doing?
Assist in the implementation of key financial processes within the institution, such as planning and preparation of the annual budget; preparation of annual forward financial forecasts; preparation of the statutory accounts; prepare statutory returns, manage insurance and oversee the credit control function.
You will develop and enhance management information systems in support of the Conservatoire’s evolving requirements.
You must have: or be working towards CCAB recognised accountancy qualification and hold membership of the appropriate professional institute or association, preferably within a higher or further education setting or have an audit background. Demonstrable organisational skills, including ability to handle a number of complex tasks at the same time will be crucial to this role. Excellent communication skills in all forms is essential, alongside the ability to prepare statutory reports and undertake critical analysis.
This is a fast-moving and creative environment which requires flexible and creative thinking as well as an ability to deliver to multiple deadlines.
