My client is a global FMCG business that offers a brilliant opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a truly modern and flexible working environment as the company continues to grow and transform. Based in West London whilst mainly working from home. This role in particular is 50% FTE working across the whole week, so perfect for somebody with financial accounting experience just looking to pick up extra hours on a part time basis and boost their finance experience.

Main Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO on certain projects over the annum
Contributing to the operational finance activities such as P2P (Purchase to Pay), O2C (Order to cash), ME (Manage Expenses) and A2R (Accounting to Reporting),
Accounts Payable
VAT submission
Period end closing and reporting, including Journal Entries, Generate financial reports, Intercompany reconciliations
Provide assistance to other Senior Accountants for various tasks such as group financial reporting and consolidation of global reporting entities
Accounting for Fixed Assets
Support on Tax accounting
Customer and Intercompany billing:
Process month end and reporting
Review and develop systems and processes, helping drive change and growth
Providing guidance for the reporting team as required with variance analysis and other ad hoc work

Requirements:

Experience as a Financial Accountant
Outsourcer (not essential but really a+)
University master degree in Finance or Economics
3-5 years' experience in Finance
