Financial Accountant/Bookkeeper - Part Time 30 Hours

Simpson Judge are working exclusively with a client based in Salford Quays who require a Financial Accountant on a part time basis to support the Finance Director with the maintenance of the ledgers & managing the month end process. This role will be 30 hours a week and can be worked flexibly.

Responsibilities:
• Setting up new customers/vendors & master data
• Uploading and inputting sales invoices to customer online portals
• Posting and allocating cash receipts, debit notes/invoices for rebates
• Raising queries on amounts received with Finance Director
• Posting credit card/PayPal receipts
• Assisting with credit control
• Coding and posting all invoices, matching to purchase orders and goods received where required
• Posting price and exchange difference arising on invoices
• Ensuring all invoices are approved
• Posting and allocating all payments to vendors
• Posting journals prepared by Finance Director for accruals & prepayments
• Posting expenses and credit card claims
• Posting payments including payroll
• Preparing bank and control account reconciliations

Requirements:
• Strong Excel skills
• Proven experience at a similar level, minimum 2 years’
• SAP experience highly desirable but not essential
