BIRMINGHAM

C£40,000 PRO RATA

This Birmingham based established company is now looking for a part-time (3 days a week) Financial Controller.

Role:

- Manage the invoicing, internal payroll

- Weekly fee report to MD vs Budget

- Customer spend per department reports for Operations Board Meeting

- Report generation on a weekly and ad hoc basis - on stats of margin analysis

- Working with PO system

- Temp invoices - data is exported from In Time system - ensuring numbers are correct and making payments

- Issuing sales invoices

- Managing and challenging credit notes - ensuring internal processes are met

- Maintaining purchase ledger invoicing and ensuring payments are made to suppliers

- Bank reconciliation for 2 bank accounts

- Credit card reconciliation

- Good Excel for report generation - Pivots, Vs, Graphs - data manipulation

- Working out the commissions/bonuses

- Issuing payroll to employees and temps

- Sage 50, Sage Payroll, In time

- Possibly become a Manager for the credit controllers/finance function

- Ensuring that tax codes are correct for VAT purposes and ensuring double entry is correct to get the correct VAT Figure
