Part Time Financial Controller | Medway | £40k pro rata
Successful Construction and Maintenance Group is seeking the services of an experienced Financial Controller on a part-time basis (3 days a week).
The Financial Controller will solely lead the delivery of the company's Finance function within the business, providing financial advice to the Directors from both a commercial and statutory perspective. The ideal Financial Controller candidate will be an experienced accountant within the Construction industry who is used to working at a senior level.
The main responsibilities of the Financial Controller role will be to:
- Coordinate preparation of the Group’s annual budget and cash forecasts and oversee the production of annual accounts and audits.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and year end processes.
- Independently manage the full accounting function including daily accounting, bank reconciliations, monthly CIS returns and quarterly VAT return preparation and submission.
You will have recent experience of the CIS scheme, along with detailed knowledge of Sage 50.
