- 4 months (opportunity to become the Full Time CTO) This business has created a ground-breaking web based clinical simulation platform for medical image reporting.
It is being used for medical staff training in Oxford and London.
It has also gained traction with several NHS and private organisations who have shown interested in using the platform to improve staff training and patient care.
Using web standards means that the tool can be accessed using any modern web browser, without the need to plug-ins or additional software installation.
What you will Do: Full Stack Developer to further develop the platform and improve user functionality.
As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
You must have a background of managing or building development teams, as this role will eventually give you the opportunity to become the CTO.
If you are also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions Design client-side and server-side architecture Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications Write effective APIs Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software Create security and data protection settings Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design Write technical documentation What You Will Have: Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role Experience developing desktop and mobile applications Familiarity with common stacks Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g.
Angular, React, Node.js) Familiarity with databases (e.g.
MySQL), web servers (e.g.
Apache) and UI/UX design Excellent communication and teamwork skills Great attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and an analytical mind Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field The successful individual will be joining a business who focus on creating long-term value for customers and employees through a passionate dedication to excellence and a disciplined management process.
