Hours: 21 hours per week (Flexible-Monday to Friday)
Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice provides specialist free care to dying people and their families, both at the hospice and in the local community. With only a third of our income coming from the government we must raise nearly £5 million from local people, businesses and community groups every single year.

You’ll need to be highly organised, detail focused, and sensitive when leading on our In Memoriam Giving programme. In this aspect of work, great donor (customer) care and stewardship is crucial.
The role reports to the Fundraising Manager and will be required to work closely with other members of the Fundraising team, clinical staff and volunteers.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Fundraising team within a supportive, creative and industrious environment. Your focus will be to champion In Memoriam Giving both internally to Hospice staff and volunteers and externally to the community and local businesses. To identify, develop and implement plans for maximising income through all aspects of In Memoriam Giving.
You will be required to ensure a regular flow of income to achieve annual targets by way of management, planning, and co-ordination, presentations, and marketing materials.
You will have a proven track record of using innovation and creativity to the marketing of an organisation or the services that it provides.
A full clean driving license and access to a car is required. The role is based at the Hospice in Abbey Wood, with flexible working an option for the right candidate. This is an exciting time to be joining such an important local charity and an opportunity to make a real difference.
