A services-based business are looking to appoint a part-time Group Financial Controller initially on a fixed term contract with a strong possibility of this position becoming permanent. This position will be working on a part-time basis, hours could be negotiable for the right individual.
Group Financial Controller - About The Role
This position will be working for a services-based business whereby you will have responsibility of the overall finance function. This position will be involved in the more commercial elements of the finance reporting process. Providing detailed analysis the senior stakeholders within the business. You will take responsibility for the financial planning and analysis for the SME client. Running the annual budget process and consistency providing analysis on the results of the business. This position will oversee the forecasting and cash-flow forecasting and ultimately be the linchpin within the finance team but also support the owner of the business.
It is absolutely essential that you have advanced Excel skills and Sage and be able to offer support the Finance Manager / finance team. You will be the "goto" person ensuring the finance teams runs smoothly but providing the support to the MD as and when appropriate.
The successful Group Financial Controller will have:
- You will have advanced Excel skills
- You will need previous experience of working Sage
- You will have previously worked within a similar position, overseeing the financial control of a SME
- You will be either qualified or qualified by experience
- This is a part-time position with flexibility provided on hours.
- You will be someone that is keen to work in demanding and ever-changing working environment
