The company

2to3days is a social and economic movement comprising progressive companies and highly capable mothers who together champion mothers to pursue their careers on a flexible basis.

We are a value-based company whose purpose is to make a significant contribution to closing the void between the business world and the motherhood

The company is a fast-growing start-up which has proven its MVP and is now looking to scale with the vision to being the No.1 site in the UK market (and beyond!).

The Opportunity

This is a brand-new role, so we are looking for someone who sees the potential in what we have created so far (with a very small team) and is energised by the potential of what we can unlock by having you join our team. We’re looking for someone who gets excited by creating and implementing clever digital marketing strategies to deliver on our mission to unearth the many flexible working opportunities that exist and have them advertised on our site as well as to find the highly capable mothers that we want to join our movement and apply for these roles.

What we are looking for

2to3days requires a digital all-rounder to lead the technology, marketing and digital strategy along with execution for this fast-growing start-up. The ideal candidate will be as comfortable talking with developers as they are with the CEO; able to translate business requirements into actionable tasks; devise a B2B and a B2C marketing strategy; and then roll-up their sleeves to actually deliver the work. The candidate should live and breathe digital technology and marketing but equally understand that everything they do needs to be measurable. This position requires a candidate to be technology and channel agnostic in order to deliver the right message to the right user at the right time, without defaulting to any single marketing channel.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Own the 2to3days.com website, liaising with the development agency and the business to make sure that new functionality is designed, built and deployed in a timely manner

  • Own the 2to3days digital landscape (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Ads, MailChimp etc.) making sure that the business is innovative and follows best practice in everything it does.

  • Create and own weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for the business.

  • Work with the existing content marketing function to support them with advice, strategy and guidance on how best to create and deliver content across all channels

  • Devise the 2to3days digital marketing strategy for how to acquire and engage with mothers (candidates) and how to increase awareness amongst potential advertisers (companies)

  • Manage the execution of the digital marketing strategy, with some elements being done by yourself whilst managing our existing Digital Marketing Manager as well as drawing on the capabilities and expertise from the rest of the team

  • Manage the associated marketing and technology budgets

  • Work with the B2B sales team to support them with relevant digital channels

  • Be prepared to be the first port of call for anything technical for the team (even if it sometimes doesn't relate to marketing!)

Specific requirements

You need to have hands on experience of working with and implementing the following: -

  • Google Analytics

  • Google Tag Manager

  • Google Ads

  • SEO/Keyword

  • PPC

  • Facebook advertising

  • Twitter advertising

  • LinkedIn advertising

  • Monday.com (or equivalent online project management tool)

  • Pipedrive.com (or equivalent CRM platform)

  • Zapier

  • Experience managing 3rd party development agency

Characteristics and attitude

  • You need to be really happy working for a startup

  • You need to be a strong communicator

  • Enjoy working as part of a virtual team

  • You can’t be precious. Everyone roles up their sleeves and does what needs to be done and that attitude will stay with us as we grow!

This role is home based. However you need to be available to meet in  Central London or Wandsworth at least once a month.

Initially we anticipate this role being  2 – 3 days a week but as we grow so will the role
