We have just begun working for a major UK client in the Digital Tech and Telecoms industries to help them recruit a Head of Change and Transformation Communications. This is a senior role, reporting to the Group Internal Communications Director and supporting the business as it goes through a major strategic review and business transformation.
Therefore you will need to have some serious credentials in change comms, possibly gained within a management consultancy or professional services environment. You'll be able to guide Board members and senior managers on how to design and implement effective internal communications for a large organisation that is going through change. You'll be comfortable sitting with PMO Teams and talking their language but this is very definitely a strategic internal comms role and as such you will be a part of the Internal Comms and PUblic Affairs group business.
You will need to be a self-starter, confident in your own ability and able to lead a team of three direct reports and interim consultants as the projects require additional support.
You'll be working for the company during a period of real change - it is a full time role but they are one of the few employers that really gets flexible working and embraces it. Once you are up and running you will most likely be in their London office for three days a week.
