Our client, a finance NGO, is looking for a candidate with a background in fixed income in a newly created position of Head of Markets Outreach. The organisation mission driven and is looking to empower the global fixed income market to accelerate the climate transition at speed and scale. 

Launched in 2020, they have had a strong and positive response to their unique markets approach to climate impact. The work has been covered widely in the press and contributed to some real shifts of capital for the benefit of climate change mitigation.

The current team comes from careers on both the buy- and sell-side. That broad experience combined with genuine passion for combatting climate change is the basis for their credibility with stakeholders in the fixed income market. 

The Markets outreach role will entail leading the organisation’s interaction with primarily asset owners, asset managers but also banks and other financial market intermediaries across the globe. The interaction entails first raising awareness of the organisation's research and then developing relationships into mutual exchanges of information and ideas. 

The ideal candidate would have an extensive background in the fixed income space and a network of industry senior practitioners. Relevant previous careers might include credit research, analysis or credit/ fixed income sales. Other valuable skills include strong communication and analytical skills especially with a capacity to distil the research output from advanced analysis to more digestible formats. A proficiency to build and utilize market professional networks is also required.
